Stay cool in the pool!

Just imagine cooling down in our fabulous swimming pool, relaxing at the shallow end. Engage in friendly conversation. Drinks at arms length, the sound of birds chirping in the woods and bees humming in the lavender fields. Enjoy the simple things in life.

Gaze over the landscape and see the charming old hilltop villages with their churches and castles. You are surrounded by vineyards and hazelnut fields and behind them the contours of the Alps. Life is simply wonderful.

Find your perfect spot in our garden

The garden is full of scents and there are various places to sit and enjoy the views. Maybe enjoy the morning sun at the outdoor kitchen lounge area and plan your day? This is also a perfect spot for an afternoon aperitivo with other guests.

Relax at the fire pit with views as far as the eyes can see. In colder days, light the fire. An afternoon nap maybe in one of our private cabana’s? Whatever you do, relax and enjoy the clouds flying by in the sky.

A favourite amongst our guests is one of the wine tastings. Truly an experience to remember!

“From the panoramic location of the fab house, to the spacious, well designed rooms, to the friendly, easygoing hospitality including a welcome drink & delish breakfasts, it was perfect! Great location in wine country, near wonderful restaurants & small historic villages, and the hosts are happy to help you with recommendations. Small place with other nice guests that appreciate the low-key boutique environment.”

“The guesthouse was easy to reach by car. The room was very comfortable, the general feeling welcoming and the pool was great. The view from the pool is precious. We had a barbecue evening with the hosts as well as the other guests, giving us a nice feel of community. There are also multiple restaurants as well as multiple wineries in the surrounding area. The included breakfast was good as well.”

Get a feel for our house and suites

The heart of the house is the modern island kitchen. This is where we prepare breakfast. We either serve outside under the gazebo (in case of sun) or inside our kitchen (in case of rain).

Our private accommodation is on the top level next to the rooftop terrace. Our large suites are below and remain cooler due to their position; either north facing and/or partly in-ground.

Surrounding the house is the garden with amazing views onto the green patchwork landscape.

Unveil a glimpse of the Cascina history

The house used to be a small wine house. Although neglected and abandoned when we found it, we saw potential and decided to buy it.

We are lucky to have found this private place in the hills with great views. Close enough to towns, bars and restaurants. With plenty of space for guests and a part that could be converted into our living space.

We had a clear vision and knew we could bring it into the modern age, respecting it’s history. And so, Cascina GianTino was born.

An area rich in heritage

The quilted farmlands and small hilltop villages with their churches and castles remind us of past times. Traditions are strong here and little has changed. Life is lived in a pure and authentic way.

The area is full of winding little roads in an every changing patchwork landscape. You are surrounded by vineyards and hazelnut fields. Views everywhere, also of the majestic Alps. This is what Piemonte is all about.

Now this Unesco World Heritage area is ready to be discovered … come and enjoy la dolce vita!

Yes, I want la dolce vita!
